Beyond the familiar Bund and Lujiazui skyline, Shanghai offers extraordinary visual range for production: the dense historical lanes of the Former French Concession, the converted industrial spaces of M50 and the West Bund, the modernist housing blocks of the inner districts, and the sprawling new urban fabric of Pudong.
