Passion Project You Have to Let Go - Short
A psychological horror short film directed by Anthony Pontillas, shot over a single weekend on Blackmagic URSA Mini 4.6K Pro G2.
The film follows its protagonist in the aftermath of a traumatic event - unable to save his girlfriend from a violent attack, he is left haunted by grief, guilt, and the fractured memories of her death. The horror is internal: the film operates in the space between what happened and what he can’t escape, collapsing the boundary between memory and present reality.
The visual language leans into psychological disorientation - light as threat, space as instability, the camera never fully at rest. A two-day shoot with the compression and intensity that short-form narrative demands.
