Panasonic LUMIX Bangkok Grooves
A collaboration with Chinese director Grace Hsia for Panasonic LUMIX - the second in a series of city films, following an earlier piece shot on the LUMIX GH6. This time: Bangkok, Super 16mm, and the Krasnogorsk-3.
The brief was deliberately open - an improvisational trip through the city, shooting on the LUMIX S5M2X alongside a Krasnogorsk-3 loaded with Kodak film. The hybrid approach wasn’t a compromise; it was the point. The digital and analog material push against each other in a way that suits the energy of Bangkok - a city that operates on multiple registers simultaneously.
Film processed by Negativeland Film and DDRED Lab.
