AWOR AWOR - Law of Duality

Law of Duality was created for AWOR’s New York S22 collection - a film built entirely around opposition. Male and female, round and angular, love and lust, good and evil. Nothing exists without its counterpart.

Shot across both analog and digital formats, the grain and texture of film sits against the clinical sharpness of digital - the medium itself becoming part of the duality. The palette is almost entirely stripped back to black and white, letting shape, form, and tension do the work.

The geometry was intentional - circular and square motifs run throughout, echoing the push and pull of the emotional narrative. AWOR’s S22 line gave us room to explore something darker and more conceptual than a traditional fashion film. We leaned into it.
